Ethanol is worse than gasoline for climate

A new study could deliver a death blow to E85 ethanol fuels. It estimates corn-based ethanol actually is at least 24% more carbon-intensive than gasoline. Find out more at TheDetroitBureau.com.

Missing the mark

They also invested in alternative sources, such as cellulosic, which were intended to produce ethanol from waste products ranging from agricultural scraps to recycled paper.

“This is absolutely critical to our future,” said then-GM President Fritz Henderson in 2008, following the automaker’s investment in Coskata, an Illinois cellulosic alcohol startup. “It is in our economic self-interest for these companies to succeed.”

But that technology never lived up to its billing and dependence upon corn-based ethanol grew rapidly. Between 2008 and 2016, the new study noted, the farmland in the U.S. devoted to providing corn for alcohol grew by 6.9 million acres.

I remember all the talk about biofuels and how they were better for the climate and would ease fuel costs. It was also assumed that biofuels would be coming from agricultural waste and other woody material.  Not so much.  Corn, soybeans and wheat account for around 70% of the dollar value of US agriculture each year.  When the mandates for biofuel became more prominent in 2011, costs for cattle feed, bread and cake flour increased. So food costs went up.  And….gas prices went up.  And, we were using 40% of our corn production for biofuel.  Using our crops to power our cars rather than feeding our children and the millions of starving populations around the world remains another stain on the “green” sycophants.

Our tax dollars subsidized corn growers and ethanol refiners to produce a product we were forced to purchase. That delivers less energy for our money, adds water to our gas tanks, increases food prices, and degrades the environment.  Meanwhile, politicians and special interests still won.

What I’ve Learned Rescuing My Daughter From Her Transgender Fantasy

My daughter was an ultrafeminine girl since birth. She insisted that her room be painted pink, and she refused to wear anything but dresses until third grade. She avoided her older brother’s toys and sports, choosing tea sets and Shopkins, a series of tiny, collectible toys.

Her favorite activity was to slip into my closet and don my few sparkly clothes and shiniest of heels. She rejected sports in favor of art and sewing.

That all abruptly changed when she turned 12. As her body matured into young womanhood, she stopped begging for a bikini and avoided any clothing that accentuated her figure. She hid her breasts under men’s extra-large sweatshirts.

I remembered doing similar things as my body changed, so I didn’t worry at first.

Then, my daughter immersed herself into anime art and cosplaying, the hobby of dressing like fantastical characters. I supported her creative side.

I didn’t know that anime and cosplaying can overwhelm a young mind. I didn’t know that anime and cosplaying involved gender-bending themes and that the community crosses into pedophilic and sexual themes.

I also didn’t know that the older cosplay community groomed the younger cohorts.

Mainstream Media Is “Being Swallowed” By Joe Rogan

Over the past week, after a blog post I made about how Joe Rogan was disrupting the mainstream media, I had the pleasure of being interviewed by former Fox Houston newswoman Ivory Hecker about what the future of the mainstream media looks like.

You may remember Ivory as the woman who was fired after interrupting a live, on-air weather report this past summer to claim that Fox was “muzzling” her, before turning over her evidence to Project Veritas.

for bringing up hydroxychloroquine during an interview and that Fox 26’s Sales Coordinator “admitted on tape that the CDC is heavily influencing stations such as theirs due to the amount of money they are pouring into ad campaigns – and how that, in turn, affects the network’s coverage of major health issues.”

Suffice to say, I had no trouble seeing why Hecker took interest in my recent campaign against the mainstream media.

My interview with Ivory was prompted by an article I wrote called “The Mainstream Media Is Losing The Fight Of Its Life…All Thanks To Joe Rogan”.

In that article, I described why I was expecting one of the largest mainstream media pivots in history in 2022, catalyzed by capitalism and common sense. I wrote about why Joe Rogan leading the pack would force changes throughout the industry and why I thought the media’s narrative on Covid would have to change in 2022.

In short, I believe the legacy media must change:

  1. Due to capitalism. They are going to have to adapt their business models or they will become money-losing, financially failing enterprises.

  2. To respond to continued outrage from both sides of the aisle being stripped of hearing both sides of the story. All Joe Rogan does is allow the other side of the story to present their case – he rarely argues how people should think. Instead, he just gives them a chance to consider all the potential facts available.

  3. If they (the mainstream media) want their candidates (Democrats) to have any chance in hell of even showing up at mid-terms this year. As I wrote in November, the recent blowout in Virginia, which quickly turned red and elected Glenn Youngkin after being in favor of Biden during the Presidential election, could wind up becoming the trend nationwide during mid-terms.

Bucho Thoughts:  For the past two years, I’ve been observing people around me are being hypnotized. I’ve been seeing it with the public, family members, and friends. The mainstream media constantly echo the government’s talking points about the pandemic to flip their point of view. And I’m tired of what the so-called authorities and the media are doing to the people. This is pure depravity. A tiny number of sociopaths run the world, and it’s time people wake up and realize there are far more of us than there are of them.
