I’m Big Bucho. Gen X. Old enough to remember the mid-to-late 70s (1975–1979 still live in the memory banks). Meme war veteran. Part-time philosopher. Full-time pain in the ass to anyone who thinks dissent is violence.

One of my favorite Gen X battle cries still holds: “Gen X — We just don’t care.” Not in the nihilistic sense. In the “I’ve already survived the tail end of the 70s, the 80s, the 90s, the internet, and every moral panic since… so spare me your latest sacred cow” sense. We grew up without participation trophies, without constant adult supervision, and without the expectation that the world would rearrange itself around our feelings. That background still shows.

Born of two flags – 🇺🇸 and 🇲🇽 – I watched the American experiment from both sides of the border and the culture. That dual perspective taught me early that truth doesn’t care about your feelings, and that the best way to defend it is often with a sharp joke and zero apology.

I write because silence is just surrender with better PR. Humor is resistance. Comedy is the only honest theology left. When the institutions go soft, the memes get hard. When the narrative managers tell you to shut up and comply, I answer with screenshots, sarcasm, and the occasional well-aimed brick of common sense.

This site is a side project for fun – and for the record. A place to call out fraud, hypocrisy, and the soft totalitarianism of the age without asking permission. No corporate sponsors. No sensitivity readers. Just one Gen X guy with a keyboard, a strong stomach, and zero interest in joining the herd.

Intellectual influences worth naming Thomas Sowell – America’s living treasure of clarity and evidence. William F. Buckley Jr. – the original high-IQ troll who made conservatism witty again.
