Andersen Windows, the most trusted name in windows and doors, has expanded its available glazing options with a new solar control glass designed to reject unwanted solar heat while allowing the sunlight to stream through. Andersen® SmartSun™ glass helps reduce energy consumption in the home while providing year-round thermal protection and attractive visibility.
While standard solar glazings control heat gain through glass tinting that reduces visible light; Andersen SmartSun glass is formulated with an additional microscopic layer of silver that controls the amount of infrared energy transmitted, allows a higher level of visible light, and blocks 95 percent of the ultraviolet rays. The blocking of damaging ultraviolet rays helps protect furniture, carpets and wall coverings.

I hired Tony Ramirez to assess and repair our 30 year old Andersen Windows. The glass was sagging and the windows no longer operated properly. Tony suggested that we replace the operating portions of the windows only, leaving the frames in place. That option was less expensive, less disruptive and kept our original style intact. The rooms are warmer and the windows open and close easily.

We have more windows to replace and we will continue to work with TR Windows. Tony is a professional…on budget and on time!

TR Window services replaced several windows in my home that were damaged by hail. The owner worked with me to convince and insurance adjuster that the damage was not ‘normal wear and tear’ and indeed was hail damage. The owner knows his products well. He showed me several alternatives to replace my original windows. We are very satisfied with the products.

I was unhappy with the widows in my home and not just in the fact they needed replacing. The upstairs windows were misplaced and too small. I had several window replacement companies submit bids, but they were over priced and I didn’t feel they were up for the task of the level of remodeling I wanted done. Oct. 2012 I had TR Window Sevices replace: 3 Anderson window panels, 2 french door panels, and 4 screens. Big Tony and his assistant were extremely professional, prompt and courteous; ie carpets, furniture and tile. If I had any questions regarding product Tony always got back to me. Our house survived a huge forest fire, but many of the windows were cracked and needed replaced. TR Window Services was VERY professional and did an excellent job replacing the windows. It was not an easy task, as we have Fibre-cement siding and a lot of stone work that they had to work around. The impact on our daily life was small thanks to their efficient work.
