THE 2013 BIRCH MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT

JASON BIRCH had a strength and spirit like no other. While attending The University of Northern Colorado, Jason’s positive attitude and natural leadership abilities began to shine. He became an active member in the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity as well as captain of the UNC Lacrosse club. These organizations helped Jason develop into an amazing leader, a superior athlete and a loyal friend. In May of 1997, Jason graduated with an economics degree from The College of Business Administration, equipped with enough energy and enthusiasm to conquer the world. Tragically, Jason’s promising future was cut short later that August when he was involved in a fatal car accident. His presence has been missed ever since.

We thank all of you in advance for your time, contributions and efforts in continuing to celebrate the life of Jason.

Sincerely,

Scott Singer, Brian Munroe and Jeremy Cantalamessa
The Birch Endowment Fund Committee

The goal of the Birch Memorial Endowment Fund is to keep the memory of Jason alive by raising money to contribute to the organizations and causes that Jason held so dear.

The Birch Memorial Endowment Fund commitee donates annual scholarships, of at least $500, to an undergrad at The University of Northern Colorado, who attended Smoky Hill High School, both of which are Jason’s Alma Maters. In addition, we continue to make large financial contributions to various nonprofit organizations that are helping the fight against cancer, such as The Cancer Research Institute.
